 Teacher websites are a tool that I didn't know were such a great tool until I got to high school. Teacher websites are a great way to get to know who is teaching your class before ever entering the room - to an extent. While researching this subject, I came across a teachers website and it had so many amazing things to view. Along with a "About Me" section of the website, it also had a daily schedule linked to allow families and students to stay updated on everything going on. This website was a wonderful introduction not only to the teacher but to the class as well. (Website linked below).

In today's day and age, technology is everywhere. I plan to use technology in my classroom in a way that makes it easier for my students to learn and get their work accomplsihed. Some of the tools I would like to establish in my classroom is Google Drive. With Google Drive, students will be able to use google docs and google slides and keep it all safe in one space. Also by implementing this, students can invite me as thier teacher to view their works so that I can grade and double check any work that is necessary for me to access. 

I have personally never used the Canvas group pages to do an assignment. This being said I found it pretty tricky to manuever and quite confusing. Maybe if I had worked on this site before to do an assignment it would have been a bit easier. Canvas is a great way to keep all of your classes organized using one online tool. I honestly never used such a platform until I got to college and it took a bit of getting used to but I have learned to come and love it. For the most part it is easy to use, and if not usually a friend or teacher is around to help. I do not know any other websites like Canvas but since I'm already acquainted with it I would recommend this site to anyone who was looking for something like this.

Microsoft word has made such an impact on how I and a big majority of people have learned to organize their school, work, and or personal writings. Throughout my school years k-12 (mostly middle through high school) my schools wanted us to use google docs to do all of our assignments. I personally think that MS Word is much easier to use and allows for more creativity when it comes to fonts, colors, and anything else you could think of. While being at FSU I have had the opportunity to get a free membership with MS Word and it is much easier to use in my opinion and this is my preferred way of doing assignments and taking notes.  While the ISTE standards cover students, educators, education leaders, and coaches, today we will focus on educators. Blog Six

 This class has introduced me to the new resource of Diigo. I honestly do not have a clear cut decision made on if I like it or not yet just because I have not used it enough. It seems pretty easy use, I am just a little technologically challenged so any new website is difficult for me to navigate and get the hang of. I really like that whenever you go to post something there is a big blu plus sign, can't miss it. I also like how it allows you to react to comments and not just reply with a comment. I am not going to lie, I was not excited that we would have to post blogs in this class, but it has slowly become one of my favorite assignments to do. With blogging, I feel like I can truly just speak what's on my mind and not worry about if it "sounds smart enough", or if my teacher will like it.  Hello, My name is Tori Morris. I am a junior in college and plan on graduating next spring in 2025. I grew up in a family with a mother and father and one older brother who is two years older than me. I grew up being very close to my family and it has remained that way even though we have all grown and moved away from each other. I grew up playing sports, and involved in a lot of clubs throughout my k-12 life. These experiences made me realize that I am very interested in working with people when I have a full time job. I am currently pursuing a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with  two seperate minors in Education and Biology.
